Cancer: Three key ways to prevent cancer

What is Cancer?

Cancer is a group of diseases involving abnormal cell growth with the potential to invade or spread to other parts of the body. These abnormal cells are termed cancer cells, malignant cells, or tumor cells. These cells can infiltrate normal body tissues. Many cancers and the abnormal cells that compose the cancer tissue are further identified by the name of the tissue that the abnormal cells originated from (for example, breast cancerlung cancerand colorectal cancer). Cancer is not confined to humans; animals and other living organisms can get cancer. There are over 200 types of cancer.

The incidence of cancer and cancer types are influenced by many factors such as age, gender, race, local environmental factors, diet, and genetics. Despite the fatality risks which cancer poses, there are three key ways to prevent it. Consequently, the incidence of cancer and cancer types vary depending on these variable factors. For example, the World Health Organization (WHO) provides the following general information about cancer worldwide. Cancer is a leading cause of death worldwide. It accounted for 8.2 million deaths (around 22% of all deaths not related to communicable diseases; most recent data from WHO).

What are the common symptoms of Cancer?

Common signs and symptoms of cancer in both men and women include:
-1.Pain. Bone cancer often hurts from the beginning and some brain tumors cause headaches that last for days.

-2. Weight loss without trying: It’s often one of the signs that cancer patients notice first.

-3. Fatigue: Feeling tired all the time even after resting

-4. Prolong fever that persists for more than 3 days.

-5. Changes of Skin: If it’s darkened, looks yellow or red, itches, or sprouts more hair, or if you have an unexplained rash, it could be a sign of liver, ovarian, or kidney cancer, or lymphoma.

-6. Sores that don’t heal. Spots that bleed and won’t go away are also signs of skin cancer.

-7. Cough or hoarseness that doesn’t go away. A cough is one sign of lung cancer.

-8.Unusual bleeding. Cancer can make blood show up where it shouldn’t be.

-9. Anemia. This is when your body doesn’t have enough red blood cells in the bone marrow. Cancers like leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma can damage your marrow.

How do I prevent cancer?

There are three key ways to prevent cancer; avoid tobacco, maintain a healthy weight, practice safer sex, and avoid risky behaviors. You should take hepatitis vaccines, and make sure your diet contains nutrients that help prevent cancers. These 3 diet tips will guide you;

-1. Eat Foods Rich in Antioxidants like such as vitamin C, lycopene, and beta-carotene, which are in many fruits and vegetables like strawberries, carrots, spinach, and garlic.

-2. Eat whole-grain foods: Whole grains contain other substances that might battle cancer, including lignans, which act as antioxidants, and saponins, which could keep cancer cells from multiplying. You should look for bread labeled “100% whole wheat” rather than simply “wheat bread,” which likely contains refined grains.

-3. Take Supplements that help prevent cancers: High-Quality supplements like Nature’s Field Vitamin C 1000mg, Nature’s Field Selenium 200mcg, Nature’s Field Immune Defence, Nature’s Field Mega Garlic, and Nature’s Field Vitamin E
